Djihad, il figlio maggiore, collabora al sostentamento della famiglia suonando in un nightclub; il fratello Hakim, fondamentalista, trascorre il tempo alla moschea. I rapporti tra tolleranza e fondamentalismo sono sempre più difficili in ambienti ed in atmosfere familiari dove spesso regnano frustrazione ed insoddisfazione. Ed i pericoli e le conseguenze dell'intolleranza crescente sono sempre in agguato.
